Manufacturing of a tank happens in seconds - the design is premade and stored in the memory banks of the MUF or Recycler, and the Biometal is just heated up and made to assume the correct shape. Weapons can be modified on the fly with a hardpoint system, and all weapons in a vehicle take ammunition from a common pool. Biometal armor has EDD - equal damage distribution (which justifies the hitpoint system) which spreads the damage out all over the vehicle and provides automatic self repair to critical systems, which means that short of highly specialized munitions, it's impossible to achieve penetrating hits, and even those have to hit the pilot in order to be effective.
